Jessie

Jessie is the tritagonist from "Toy Story 2" and "Toy Story 3". She is originally from a fictional children's TV show called "Woody's Roundup". She is a yodeling cowgirl. She was voiced by Joan Cusack, who both later (that is, much after "Toy Story 2") and earlier (that is, much before "Toy Story 3") voiced Abby Mallard in "Chicken Little".

Originally, according to Sarah McLachlan's Oscar-nominated song "When She Loved Me" (which was sung in Jessie's point of view), Jessie was once owned by a little girl named Emily, who loved her a lot, until the latter grew up and gave her up, having been more interested in teen stuff. Later, she went into storage.

Appearance and Personality

Physical Appearance

Jessie is a tomboyishly beautiful toy cowgirl. She is slender and fair-skinned in plastic. She has green eyes, red hair with a ponytail in braids and a yellow ribbon that has tied to the bottom of her ponytail, pink lips, white long-sleeved western-style shirt with both yellow blouse and cuffs that have red doodles, blue jeans, a belt with a gold buckle, a pair of chaps that have cow spots all over, brown cowgirl boots, crimson cowgirl hat, and a pull string on her back with a white loop attached to it, like Woody.

Personality

Jessie is very excitable, as shown when she is first introduced, she becomes very excited and giggly to see there is a Woody doll. However, she can also be shown as insecure, especially when Woody tells them he can't go to the museum with them. Like most toys in Toy Story, Jessie likes being loved by a kid.
