Jane is one of the two main protagonists from the 2002 theatrical sequel to Peter Pan; Return to Neverland. She is Wendy's cute and tomboyishly beautiful daughter. Because her father Edward's last name isn't said, neither is hers. Under the pressures of World War II, Jane has become much like her grandfather: practical and trying to get the rest of the family to be practical, too. Harriet Owen did her voice, while Jonatha Brooke did her (background) singing voice for the song she wrote known as "I'll Try"; however, Owen did her own singing in "So to Be One of Us".
- Jane is the fourth daughter of a predecessor's protagonist to take his or her place as the main protagonist in the sequel, the first three being Nikki Ferris (taking over from Sharon McKendrick in "The Parent Trap II"), Kiara (taking over from Simba in "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride") and Melody (taking over from Ariel in "The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea").
